IGN THE WITCHER 2 SERIES
With The Witcher season 2 concluding with Geralt and Yennefer being on such bad terms with one another, it led to questions about how the series could ever see the two reconnect. While the two would ultimately save Ciri and remain together to help teach the young girl to control her power through her knowledge, season 2 concludes with Geralt not willing to forgive Yennefer for her betrayal. Despite their reunion, however, Yennefer had planned to deliver Ciri (Freya Allan) to The Deathless Mother (Ania Marson) to regain her powers, leading to Geralt distrusting her when they meet outside of Cintra. While The Witcher season 2 began with Geralt believing Yennefer was killed during the battle at Sodden Hill, the Witcher soon learns of her survival and reunites with her at Melitele's temple.
